Mediation is a cooperative process used to assist individuals or groups that use the resources of a third party who is neutral and trained to resolve conflict. The result is a fair and reasonable agreement that meets the significant needs of all the parties. A voluntary process that leads to agreements that last because they are reached mutually and take into account the unique concerns and creative input of the parties.
The information is treated confidentially and is not released during the mediation process. Meetings are scheduled at times convenient to all involved.
Mediation saves time and money compared to other forms of dispute resolution. The success rate for mediation is between 80 and 85%.
